Derek M. Rand, a partner with Berger, Macdonald & Rand LLP began his career in 1999 with an audit and tax firm based out of NYC, McGladrey & Pullen LLP. In 2002, Derek made the transition into the private sector as a Senior Financial Analyst with Arrow Electronics, Inc. located in Melville, NY. In 2005, Derek joined G.E. Macdonald & Co., Ltd. as a senior accountant becoming partner in 2008.Derek began his studies in 1996 at the State University of New York at Albany where he went on to graduate in 1999 with a BS in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration.
